Hebrews 2:18 For in
that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that
are tempted. What a tender verse we have for today! Succour is a young mother
lovingly nursing her newborn baby. And just as a mother nurses her little baby,
Jesus also takes care of us His dear children. But why is Jesus Christ so
sensitive towards us? Jesus is sensitive towards us because Jesus was
one of us. He lived a life as a junior age boy and then later as a teenager
just like us - except Jesus didn’t sin. Jesus knows what we are going through
because He went through it too – except Jesus didn’t sin. So when we have
problems in our lives, Jesus can help us because he knows exactly what is going
on. Jesus loves us and Jesus cares for us. So pray to Him in faith and Jesus
will hear!
