Saturday was my dear wife’s birthday - right in the middle
of the Corona Virus pandemic. So, her
birthday party had to be postponed. But
my son, Phillip arranged for all of the kids and grandkids to facetime Marmie,
which they did. It was a great
idea. But when Greyson, our
seven-year-old grandson came online, he was tearful. To him the worst possible thing was to have your
birthday party cancelled. But Marmie reassured
him and said, “This is my best birthday ever!”
Greyson was elated! The day
turned out good for his Marmie anyway.
Paul said in Romans 12:15, “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep
with them that weep.” Greyson was happy
when his Marmie was happy. Good for you
Greyson, and good for you, Marmie! And,
Happy Birthday too!
