Chick fil-A is great, but they tend to go overboard. The plastic wrapping on their forks, spoons, and knives is so strong that I can’t tear them open. If I ask for 2 packs of ketchup, they give me 3. If I ask for 2 packs of honey, I get 4. So, Thursday morning, when they brought me my tray (right to my table), I had 5 napkins on it. But I quickly used 2, because after adding cream to my coffee, I spilled it trying to put on the lid. Then I had to blow my nose on another and clean the honey off my hands with another. I only had 1 napkin left when I finished my meal! But after I washed the sticky honey off my hands in the bathroom, I used that last napkin to dry my hands. Come to think of it, Chick fil-A gives exactly the right number of napkins! Paul admits that God’s grace, although lavishly abundant, was exactly how much that he needed. The Lord said to Paul in II Corinthians 12:9, “… My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness ...” And Paul responded to the Lord by saying in the rest of verse 9, “… Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” Hey, God knows just how much grace you need for today. So trust in the Lord and accept His grace, because you’ll need it … all of it.
