Friday, I had a bittersweet experience. Jason Holcomb and his dad of Chattanooga Monuments installed our grave markers at Daily Hill Cemetery. They graciously included me in the process, for which I was grateful. They were very professional and detailed in their work. Everything had to be square and level. I was glad to see my wife remembered by a beautiful grave marker, but I was sobered as I looked at my own marker. It gave me pause to think of my own mortality. Hebrews 9:27, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” When it comes your turn to die, will you be ready to meet your Maker, or will you be embarrassed to see Him? Think about it, because that day will come sooner than you think. Yes, it will.
