Jesus was our example: He took so much from the religious hypocrites and the Roman snobs. But Jesus was on a mission. A mission to give his life for the likes of you and me. He taught, he preached, and he died for your sins and for mine! Hebrews 12:2, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
