Truthful Truck

My truck lied to me Saturday evening.  Or, it could have been that my truck was deceived and didn’t know any better.  Let me explain.  I went to Food Lion and got a few items.  I was too lazy to bend down and set them on the passenger floorboard, so I set them on the seat.  And that’s when my truck lied.  The light on the dash said, “Passenger Air-Bag Off”.  Which was actually true, but the truck thought someone was sitting in the passenger seat and it relayed information to me based on that assumption.  If my truck would have had eyes, it could have determined that I had groceries not a passenger in the passenger seat.  Hey, have you ever been deceived?  Or it could have been that you acted on false information and then made a decision based on that false information.  Some would call that gossip, because the information was false, the assumption was false, and the information passed on was false.  In today’s circles, gossip is one of those allowable sins ... sins that are winked at; sins that are not confronted.  Ephesians 4:29, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”  Hey, is your speech Godly, or is your speech (like my truck) deceitful?  Think about it.
