I don’t want the memory of my wife to fade. So, I have a project that I have been working on: a memory quilt. I finished one for the twin bed in our small bedroom, and I am working on a queen-sized quilt for the main bedroom. I used Kathy’s clothes to make the quilts: 3 jackets, 4 sweaters, 5 shorts, 10 blouses, 4 tee shirts, and 10 dresses. I watched 5 YouTube videos and became an ‘expert’ … but don’t look too closely. My skills need to be honed. Solomon said in Proverbs 10:7, “The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.” My wife’s memory is blessed because she was a selfless person. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ, she loved her family, and she put herself last. Hey, what about you? You are building your memories each day. But … what kind of memories are they? Think about it.
